Description

Experience the thrill of owning a true giant of the hobby! The Brazilian Giant White Knee (Acanthoscurria geniculata) is highly prized for its massive size, reaching a diagonal leg span (DLS) of up to 8-inches, and its stunning contrast of deep black colouration against brilliant white knee markings. As a New World terrestrial species, it is typically docile and exhibits a powerful feeding response, making it an incredibly engaging display animal. This fast-growing tarantula is an excellent choice for beginners who are ready to take on a large, impressive specimen, provided they respect its size and occasional defensive kick of urticating hairs. A classic, hardy, and iconic addition to any collection.
