Description

The Ornithoctonus aureotibialis, or Thai Golden Fringe, is a large and beautiful Old World Fossorial species. This tarantula is a shy, nocturnal burrower recognised by its heavy, complex web tunnels and the brilliant golden or yellow fringes on its legs when mature. Due to its extreme speed, defensive nature, and potent venom, this shy spider is strictly for experienced keepers. Provide it with a deep substrate to facilitate its natural burrowing behaviour.
