Description

The ultimate velvet-black showpiece! The Brazilian Black (Grammostola pulchra) is a New World terrestrial species from Brazil and Uruguay, admired for its deep, glossy jet-black velvety appearance and impressive size. Hardy and often out in the open, it’s a top display tarantula. Exceptionally docile and calm, rarely flicking hairs or posturing, with mild venom—making it one of the best beginner species and a hobby favourite for its gentle nature and longevity.
